Welcome To Plant Source

Plant Source is a consortium of three of the most prestigious horticultural foundations in the Delaware Valley. The Chanticleer Foundation, the Hardy Plant Society/Mid-Atlantic Group, and the Scott Arboretum of Swarthmore College have come together to provide local area gardeners with information about where to find plants at local retail and wholesale nurseries, garden centers and plant society and public garden sales.

The previous edition of Plant Source: Where to Buy Plants in the Greater Delaware Valley, was originally published in 1996. Because of its success we are publishing a new edition. This time, however, it is an electronic searchable site on the Internet!

The aim of the site is to help a gardener find sources that sell plants within a 50-mile radius of the Philadelphia International Airport.
